NetSetGO: The Perfect Start for Young Netballers
Fun, friends, and fundamentals for ages 5-10
What is NetSetGO?
Woolworths NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter netball program that gives younger kids starting out a fun and welcoming first experience of the sport. It focuses on helping kids get active, learn simple netball skills like passing, catching and footwork, and discover what it means to be part of a team in a safe, inclusive environment.
The program is split into three stages called Net, Set and Go, so activities can be matched to each child’s stage of development and confidence. Sessions are built around games, basic skill drills and modified match play, with an emphasis on enjoyment, encouragement and building friendships rather than competition.
Strathmore Netball provides a small starter pack (such as a t-shirt and ball), which helps kids feel connected to the wider netball community as they begin their journey.
